In December 2014, the Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation of North Windham awarded $5000 to Willington Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars to help us increase the size of donations for our 2015 campaign.  Several of our Board members worked hard to write the grant proposal and to develop and implement the new Matching Gift Program.  Residents and local businesses who increase their donation this year to at least $500 will have the chance to get a dollar-for-dollar match from the Ossen Family grant and therefore fund an entire $1000 scholarship to a worthy Willington high school senior.  The scholarship can be presented in the name of the family or business, if the donor so wishes.

We are excited about receiving this grant, thankful to the Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation, and hopeful that the community with respond to the matching-gift opportunity with enthusiasm!
