The Willington Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars organization held its annual awards reception on June 19, 2014, at the Willington Public Library.  The scholarship recipients are lucky to live in a town that cares so much about its students that it supports them with generous donations year after year!  In spite of difficult economic times, the residents and businesses of Willington have managed to increase the total amount donated yearly for nineteen years. Next year WSF is planning some special events in commemoration of its twentieth year.  Donations are welcome at any time!

The Willington Scholarship Foundation has been providing scholarships to Willington, Connecticut graduating high school seniors for over 19 years!  We are the local chapter of Scholarship America Dollars for Scholars, and we present merit awards based solely on academic standing.  Since 1995, our residents and businesses have shown the importance of recognizing this excellence by helping the WSF to provide more than $215,800 to 356 students.

With students and their families facing the continually increasing expenses of college educations, our scholarship recipients appreciate the support. Support for this year's deserving high school graduates will depend more than ever on the generosity of donors who believe in the future of our local students.
